He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. Pollard and Mary Pollard (Hayward) of Kendall; his siblings, Jim, Caroline, Olive and Elizabeth Anne; and his grandson Zachary Hansen.

He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Pollard; his grandchildren, Tyson Hansen (Ashley), Nicole Alexander (Spencer), Deanna Lluhani (Shpendi), Jesse Millwood (Amy), Jordan Millwood, Sean Millwood, Julie Zhang and Christopher Pollard; his brother Robert Pollard (Fran); and his niece Mary.
