With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Blanche Bartizal Babcock of Three Lakes, Wisconsin, born in Riverside, Illinois, who passed away on May 21, 2021 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. John and Henrietta Bartizal (Nee Skala); her brother Dr. John Bartizal Jr.; and her granddaughter-in-law Ellen Mae Stone Babcock. She is survived by: her husband Thomas Babcock; her children, Nancy Ciapalo (Roman) of Dubuque, IA, Kathy Babcock of Waukegan, IL and Tim Babcock (Sara) of Jefferson, WI; her grandchildren, Peter and Bridget; her siblings, Henrietta Pons of Winnetka, IL and Paul Bartizal of Tennessee; and her sisters-in-law, Sally Barnhart of Phoenix, AZ, Susan Burt of Dana Point, CA and Bonnie Lyon of Eagle River, WI. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Butternut Franklin Lakes Foundation, the Thomas and Blanche Babcock Family Scholarship Fund at Ripon College, or a charity of your choice.
