He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Smith and Fern Markley Smith; his siblings, Milbrith Halley, Gladys Townsend, Beverly Draves and Ronald Smith; his nephew Scott Smith; and his nieces, Debra Smith and Mindy Alexander White.
He is survived by: his former wife Theresa Lynch; his wife Theresa Smith; his stepson Leon Lynch (Zetta); his stepgranddaughter Shamara Lenoir; his stepgreat-granddaughters, Heaven Rufus and Emoni Darden; and his brothers, Gale Smith (Mary) and Gary Smith (Nancy). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
