Sara G. Tarver Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 16, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Sara G. Tarver (Sun Prairie, Wisconsin). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her daughters, Paula and Sandy; her great great grandchild Sara; and her friend Pat.

During her tenure with the University, Sara made innumerable contributions to the research, teaching and service missions of the Department of Rehabilitation Psychology and Special Education–and most significantly in the area of Direct Instruction, where Sara became internationally known for her research, scholarship, and the cadre of students that she trained and sent forth.
