It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rita Florence Smith of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, who passed away on June 21, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Modesta Keller English and Harold English; her husbands, Dean and Bob; her brother Bill (Peggy Singlehurst); and her grandson Dillon Duren.
She is survived by: her significant other Martin (Len); her stepchildren, Dan Smith (Shawn), Ralph Smith and Laura Smith; her sister-in-law Mary Lou Duren; and also, Kathy Helland (Gil), Anita Berigan (Pat) and Dan Duren (Sandy). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the American Heart Assn, or the National Kidney Foundation.
