He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Brassard and Dolores Brassard (Yager); and his siblings, Donene Draeger and Tim Brassard. He is survived by: his wife Georgia; and his siblings, Frank Zaruba (Dawn), Mark Zaruba (Jill), Shane Zaruba (Laurie) and Cheryl Gilles. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
