He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Franz and Rose Franz (Eckert); his wife Margaret; his daughter Barbara Stack; and his granddaughter Melissa Heim.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Franz, Jr. (Shirley) of Gillette, WY, Steven Franz (Connie) of Darlington, Mark Franz (Theresa) of Appleton, Patricia Allvin of Yuma, AZ, Timothy Franz (Maureen) of Lebanon, TN, Carol Franz (LaDell Sattler) of Edgar and Daniel Franz (Michelle) of Granby, CO; and his siblings, Russell Franz (Elaine), Rosemary Ferguson and Jan Burris (Don). He is also survived by 26 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
