She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Johnson and Bernice Johnson (Strauman). She is survived by: her husband Howard Bauer; her stepdaughter Jean Mueller (Larry) of Edgar; her grandsons, Jacob of Edgar, Lucas of Edgar and Matthew of Edgar; her brother Jeff Johnson (Linda) of Marshfield; her niece Michelle Johnson of Marshfield; and her nephew Aaron Johnson (Jessica) of Spencer. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that memorials in Mary's name be designated to The American Cancer Society.
