She was predeceased by: her son Michael James Joseph Niehaus; her parents, Roman Kaas and Laura Kaas; her foster parents, Joseph Wartner and Catharine Wartner; her siblings, Jerome Kaas (Linda), Clarence Kaas (late Betty), Elmer Kaas (Shirley), Josephine Johnson (late Carl) and Andrella Moore (late Robert); and her siblings-in-law, Bernard Niehaus and Esther Lindekugel (late Robert).
She is survived by: her husband Gerald J. Niehaus of Stratford; her children, Terri Lieder (Allan) of Winona, MN, Richard Niehaus (Kris) of Marshfield and Mary Zuelke (Tom) of Stratford; her sisters, Marion Hartnett (late Glenn) of Milwaukee and Geneva Kolstad (late Harvey) of Marshfield; her sisters-in-law, Dorothy Paul (Donnie) of Stratford and Arlene Weber (late Joseph) of Marshfield; and her grandchildren, Katie Lieder of La Crosse, Ryan Lieder of Muskego, Alissa Lieder of Bloomington, MN, Faith Niehaus of Marshfield, Kelly O'Connor Schwab of Oshkosh, Kim O'Connor Kaiser of Des Moines, IA, Leanne O'Connor of Neenah-Menasha, Andrella Zuelke of Duluth, MN, Hannah of Stratford, Benjamin of Stratford and Emily Zuelke of Stratford. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Laura's name to the House of the Dove and St. Andrew's Catholic Church.
