He is survived by: his mother Mildred Balog (Koenig); his former wife Judy Paine; his children, Michael Balog (Shelly), Angela Santillan (Gabriel) and Erica Burri (Nick); and his siblings, Bruce Balog (Darlene) and Jan Johnson (Vic). He is also survived by 12 nephews & nieces.
