She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Roy and Annie Higgins (Barnes); her former husband Leonard L. Simkowski; her grandson Jeremy Simkowski; her great grandchild Ezra Simkowski; and her brothers, Richard and Myron Higgins.
She is survived by: her children, Donald Simkowski (Cindy) of Loveland, CO., Jerome Simkowski (Gladys), Tom Simkowski of Kodiak, AK, Denise Hulce (Clair) of Steven Point and Dennis Simkowski (Marg) of Steven Point; her grandchildren, Sidney Simkowski (Carolyn), Tami Carstensen (Curt), Sam Simkowski, Lisa Adams (Larry), Nicole Deppe (Jason), Jacob Simkowski (Jamie), Raffe Hulce (Ashley Arbagosh), Dacia Fletcher (Jake), Mackenzie Karaliunas (Shaun), Karlee Simkowski, Jerney Simkowski and Delaynie Simkowski; and her siblings-in-law, Geraldine Higgins and Ernest Simkowski. She is also survived by 22 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
