It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elbert J. Rackow (Stevens Point, Wisconsin), born in Plymouth, Wisconsin, who passed away on March 21, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Rackow and Ruth Rackow (DeSmidt); and his siblings, Jane E. Bergemann (Gerald) and Martin L. Rackow (Noreen). He is survived by: his daughter Helen C. Johannes (Richard); his grandchildren, Paul Johannes (Marie) and Andrea Johannes (Vincent); and his great grandchildren, Job and Judah Johannes.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Stevens Point Area Retired Teachers' Association (SPARTA) Scholarship Fund and/or the UW-SP Foundation.
