She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Wanta and Pauline Wanta (Lilla); her husband Dennis J. Firkus; her son Douglas; and her siblings, Hubert, Max, Robert and Mary Jane Shafranski.
She is survived by: her son Tom (Marie) of Plover; her daughter-in-law Suezanne; her grandsons, Nicholas and Michael of California; her sisters, Theresa Nolan and Rita Leary (Cliff) of Stevens Point; and her sister-in-law Betty Wanta. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
