He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Nelson and Ella Nelson (Christofferson); his siblings, Violet Jenkins (Robert), Delores Knauf (Harlan), JoAnn Grindeland (Glenn), Dennis Nelson, Marvin Nelson, Roger Nelson (Deloris) and Raymond Nelson (Jeannie); his in-laws, Rogars and Gertrude Clasen; and his brother-in-law Butch Rogars.
He is survived by: his wife Larraina; his children, Tabitha Osborne (Bernard), Jeffery Nelson (Reba) and Bradley Nelson; his grandchildren, Rebecca Pelt (Christian), Christopher, Clayton, Cullen Nelson, Amy Simons (Andrew), Brian Nelson (Marina) and Michael Nelson; and his great grandchild Asher (Aspen Simons). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and dear friends.
