He was predeceased by: his mother Henrietta Ballard; and his siblings-in-law, Jim Bennett, Charlie Bennett, Melvin Bennett, Elmer Knobbe, Orval Spore, Evelyn Bennett and Diane Bennett.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Bennett; his daughter Tina Hocking (Bill) of Platteville; his grandchildren, Christopher Hocking (Erryn) of Shullsburg and Shawn Hocking (Jessica) of Belmont, WI; his great grandchildren, Charles Hocking and Zoe Sams; his brother Carl Ballard (Linda) of Shullsburg; and his siblings-in-law, Dale Bennett of Cuba City, WI, Mary Knobbe of Elgin, IL and Gloria Spore of Shullsburg.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Chuck's name.
