He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Ubersox and Opal Ubersox (Hocking); his former wife Mary Jane Schilling; his brothers, Sidney Ubersox and Lyle Ubersox, Sr.; his brother-in-law Robert "Red" Amenda; and his nephew Brian Pauly.

He is survived by: his wife Michele Ubersox; his children, Jason Ubersox (Jennifer) of Shullsburg, Mary Beth Ubersox of Shullsburg, Joe Ubersox (Juli) of Shullsburg and Francis Ubersox of Argyle, WI; his grandchildren, Taylor, Kylie Ubersox, Nolan, Brady, Emma Ubersox, Hunter, Destinie, Ethan and Gavin Ubersox; his siblings, Steve Ubersox (Mary) of Cherry Valley, IL, Nancy Amenda of Darlington and Becky Pauly (David) of Shullsburg; and his sister-in-law Maureen Ubersox of Shullsburg. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Bethel's name.
