He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Kirchner and Sarah Kirchner (Metge); his wife Lois Larson; his son-in-law Michael Lancelle; his brothers, Clement, Harold (Delores), Harvey and Rudy Kirchner; his brother-in-law Conrad "Connie" Ehlers; and his pet Maggie.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Kirchner (Robin), Larry Kirchner, Randy Kirchner (Liz), JoAnne Oliver (Stuart), Paula Rueden (Ron), Annette Lancelle, Barbara Johnson (Michael Doud), Patty Steiger (Joe Farrell), Kim Van Straten (Kevin), Lori Fredrick (Brandan) and MaryJo Kirchner (Jeff Cross); his sister Arlene Ehlers; and his sister-in-law Alice Kirchner. He is also survived by 29 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren.
