He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Knier and Carol Knier (Godeman). He is survived by: his wife Judith Behrens; his daughter Kayla Schmitz (John) of Sheboygan Falls; his grandchildren, Addilyn, Deklen and Blate; his son Kevin Knier (Elizabeth) of Elm Grove; his grandchildren, Quentin, Kendrick and Cameron; and his brother James Knier (Traci) of Madison. He is also survived by Many other relatives and friends.

Terry was a member of the Elks National Foundation, Sheboygan Yacht Club, Moose Fraternity, Sheboygan Recreation Department Coach/Instructor, and authored a safety article for several years in the Sheboygan Press.
