She was predeceased by: her parents, Hans "John" Ziegler and Bertha E. Hetzel Ziegler; her stepsiblings, Myrtle Meyer (Delmar) and Alvin Dickmann; her brother John Carl Ziegler; her sister-in-law Delores Ziegler; and her sister Margene Hansen (LeRoy).
She is survived by: her children, David Russell (Mary), Diane Russell (Toshiyoshi), Allen Russell (Colleen) and Don Russell (Joli); her grandchildren, Yukiko Nakagome (Oskar), Takashi Nakagome (Giselle), Hiland Russell, Leeta Russell (Thomas) and Hattie Russell; and her siblings, William Ziegler and Marie Voland (Dennis). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
