He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Buteyn and Nelda Buteyn (Verniel); and his wife Rose Anne Losey. He is survived by: his children, Brian Buteyn-Soeby (Luke) and Rebecca Fetterer (Joel); his grandchildren, Dominick Fetterer, Ava Rose Fetterer and Lily Fetterer; his siblings, Jerith Buteyn-Gier (Jeff), Jane Buteyn and Don Losey (Pat); his cousins, Bruce and Bernie; and his close friends, Mel and Jimmy. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Phil's name can be made to either Luther Memorial Lutheran Church or Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.
