It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Petra Martinez of Sheboygan, Wisconsin, born in Uvalde, Texas, who passed away on January 11, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Barrientos and Gregoria Barrientos; her husband Victor Martinez; her granddaughter Jessica Vargas Katerski; and her siblings, Luis, Jose, Juan, Crescencio, Francisco, Felipe, Roberto, Modesta and Guadalupe.
She is survived by: her children, Javier Martinez (Celia) and Linda Martinez; her grandchildren, Erica Grehn (Eric), Veronica Valdez, Monica Mendez, Jose Espana, Juan Magana and Arcelia Schweisthal (Erik); and her sister Maria Torres (Carlos). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for memorials in Petra's name to go to Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.
