He was predeceased by: his father Steven K. Jochmann; his grandfather Ronald Jochmann (Sandra); his great-grandparent Bernice Warner; his grandfather Edward Justinger (Colleen); his stepfather Chad Walquist; and his cousin Christopher Scott Justinger.

He is survived by: his aunt Mia; his uncle Lee; his cousin Brett; his stepsister Cassie Thiessen; his mother Lynn Jochmann-Walquist (Randy Skebba); his grandparents, Donald Justinger (Sandra) and Carrie Gerlat; his aunts and uncles, Scott Justinger (Kenzie), Kevin Justinger (Karen), Michael Jochmann (Cindy), Jeff Jochmann (Lynnette), Jody Batt (Jason) and Melia Prange (Lee); and his cousins, Tim Justinger (Jenny), Kristine Axelson (Matt), Joshua Justinger (Lily), Adalyn Justinger, Cody, Matthew and Michael Jochmann.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will been established in Jonathan's name.
