He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Kimpel and Margaret Kimpel (Stiel); his daughter Carol Oestreich; his brothers, Richard Kimpel, Phillip Kimpel and Gene Stiel (Marj); his son-in-law Frank Hass; and his brothers-in-law, Larry Maxey (Nancy), Wayne (Rose) and Richard (Corrine).
He is survived by: his wife Linda Kimpel; his children, Michelle Perronne (Brent), Tamara Hass, John Weigel (Tanya) and Harriett Racicot (Steve); his grandchildren, Devin, Erik (Tina), Olivia (Michael), Sophia, Frankie, Cody, Logan, Ruby, Trisha, Beau, Kara (Clark), Hannah, Joel and Jeanette; his brothers, David Kimpel (Sharie) and Gary Kimpel (Diana); his son-in-law Brian Oestreich; his siblings-in-law, Ruby Klokow "Sassy Sissy", Charlene Capetillo (Charles), Judy Post, Dale Maxey and Jack Maxey (Karen); and his close friends, Vicki Sixel (Gary) and Rosie Loehr (Bob). He is also survived by two great-grandchildren and one great-grandson.
