He was predeceased by: his parents, Ferdinand Aschenbach and Gladys Prahl Aschenbach; his wife Donna Mae Zunker of Luke's Lutheran Church; and his brother Randy Aschenbach. He is survived by: his children, Kevin Aschenbach (Debbie) and Wendy Prince (David); his grandchildren, Nicole Manning (Tyler), Megan, Nolan Limberg, Ryan, Nicole Trossen, Ben and Chris Prince; his siblings, Bonnie Gibbs (Richard), Sherry Bender, Elwyn Aschenbach and Rodney Aschenbach (Faye); his siblings-in-law, Darlene Gruenke (Jim), Shirley Diels (Dan), Kathy Aschenbach and Dennis Zunker (Marcia); and his nephews, Tyler Aschenbach and Ryan Gibbs. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and special friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in his name.
