Corona J. Barthels Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Corona J. Barthels of Sheboygan, Wisconsin, who passed away on October 27, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Ringel and Cora Cevaal Ringel; her husband Frederick Wallace "Red" Barthels; her siblings, Charlotte Ringel, Marian Heinen, Caroline Vrubley (Joe), Donald Ringel (Audrey) and Richard Ringel; and her son-in-law Kevin Kuester.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Barthels (Denise) of Centennial, CO, Timothy Barthels (Sharon) and Bonnie Kuester (Greg Whelton); her grandchildren, Morgan Jarrett (Ryan), Megan Jackson, Evan Barthels, Tyson Barthels, Elizabeth Barthels, Matt Barthels, Ryanne Froh (Pat), Jesse Krom (Ashley), Patrick Krom, Scott Krom (Alyssa) and Allyson Krom (Adam Strucel); her great grandchildren, Gabriella, Nolan, Alana, Isabella, Cassidy, Camden, Molly, Taeton, Preston, Greyson, Lily and Connor; her siblings, Joyce Meggers (Carl), Betty Konz (Frank) and Ken Ringel (Kathy); and her brother-in-law Gene Heinen. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A memorial fund has been established in her name for Grace Orthodox Presbyterian Church.
