It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Audrey Mae Fuhrmann of Sheboygan, Wisconsin, who passed away on September 29, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Carpenter and Ida Carpenter (Fritz); her husband Merle Fuhrmann of Matthew's Catholic Church; her son-in-law Larry Clay; her brothers, Leon Max Carpenter and Lamont Carpenter; and her uncle Lee Carpenter.
She is survived by: her children, Joan Zimmerman (Kevin) of West Bend, Judy Clay-Fernandez (Art) of McKinney, TX, Jean Lockwood (Rich) of Cudahy, Jennifer Fuhrmann of Allen, TX, Joe Fuhrmann (Kathy) of Beaver Dam, WI, John Fuhrmann (Betsy) of New Berlin, Jeff Fuhrmann (Bonnie) of Howards Grove and Jim Fuhrmann (Kris) of Howard; her sisters-in-law, Ruth Carpenter of New London and Darleen Carpenter of Topeka, KS; her aunt Alice Carpenter; and her cousin Tammy Chan of Hong Kong. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 5 step grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 8 step great-grandchildren; and 1 step great-great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Audrey's name for Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.
