He was predeceased by: his parents, James DeVriend and Minnie DeVriend (Doelder); his parents-in-law, Arthur and Evelyn Semmelhack; his siblings, Pearl Shans (Seborn), Sophie Wentz (Elmer), Corrine Katt (Ralph), John, Adrian (Lydia) and Martin (Muriel); and his brother-in-law Jack Rosenthal.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Semmelhack; his sister Joanne Rosenthal; and his siblings-in-law, Sandra McKinley, James Semmelhack (Karen), Richard Semmelhack and Robert Semmelhack (Roxi). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
