He was predeceased by: his parents, Gustave Widder and Ida Widder (Miller); his wife Geri; his in-laws, Orlo and Julia Seider; his siblings, Roland Widder (Clara), Frederick Widder, Willard Widder (Audrey), Adeline Lorenz (Donald), Norma Klemmer (Delbert), Elda Kalk (Melvin), Irma Prange (Wesley) and Violet TerMaat (George); and his siblings-in-law, Bill Pohland and Caroline Dohms (Jim).
He is survived by: his children, Sue Petska (Bob) of Sheboygan, Debby Spaeth (Stephen Westcott) of Elkhart Lake, Kathryn Jones (Gary) of Sheboygan, Kevin Widder (Carleen) of Plymouth, Brian Widder (Mary) of Lake Mills and Gary Widder (Denise) of Manawa; his grandchildren, Bryan Petska (Erin), Kim Amos (Greg), Sarah, Jay (Lacey Towe), Derek Spaeth, Charlie (Jamie), Michael (Katie), Nicholas Jones (Erica), Joseph (Kayla), Jared (Ann Marie), Adam Widder, Gus (Katie Amundson), Frances Widder (Codey Cross), Nate, Natalie and Nora Widder; his great grandchildren, Dean Petska, Emerson Amos, Logan, Juliet, Hazel Jones, Chloe, Cooper Jones, Lucas, Isaac Widder, Theodore, Leena, Claire and Therese Widder; his sister Mary Pohland; and his sisters-in-law, Margaret Widder and Karen Dabbert (Milt). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested in his name to Blessed Trinity Parish or the Sheboygan Falls Lions Club.
