He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldred Herrmann and Lucille Herrmann (Pankratz); his parents-in-law, Leslie and Frances Kafka (Wanek); his sister Bjorn; his brother-in-law Les Ann Halvorsen (Kafka); his nephew Christopher Herrmann; and his great-nephew Coltin Halvorsen.

He is survived by: his wife Corrine Herrmann (Kafka); his children, Peter Herrmann (Maureen), Port of Washington, Heidi Ploetz (Kurt), Beth Snyder (Richard), Paul Herrmann (Nicole), Jon Herrmann (Julie) and Cleveland; his grandchildren, Brooke O'Byrne (Peter), Kelly Stewart (Bobby), Jordan Krasich (John), Jeremy Truvillion, Hannah Ploetz, Holly Bohl (David), Tony Naber (Heidi), Yolanda Naber, Candace Snyder (Joey Gonzalez), Sydney Snyder (Brittany), Emma Pearson (Travis), George Herrmann (Lexi), Hayden Herrmann, Hattie Herrmann, Abby Herrmann and Cole Herrmann; and his siblings, MaryJo Kocurek (Jack) and Richard Herrmann (Cindy). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
