He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jim Laurin and Carole Plute of Calumet, MI; his stepfather Sonny Plute; his wife Marcie Krause; his children, Christopher Maki (Kristi) of Howards Grove, Elizabeth Passini (Ryan) of Plymouth and Katherine Smalley of England; his grandchildren, Dominic Martin, Jenna Maki and Emelia Passini; his stepmother Carol Kellow (Joe) of Republic, MI; his siblings, Becky Johnson (Tom) of Kearsarge, MI, Peggy Gariepy (Bruce) of Laurium, MI, Suzanne Roberts of Greendale, WI, Mike Laurin (Jen) of Ishpeming, MI, Tony Laurin (Tanya) of Ishpeming, MI and Andy Laurin (Kate) of Menomonee, MI; his mother-in-law Robin Krause of Sheboygan Falls; his brothers-in-law, Adam Krause (Cyndi) of Sheboygan and Matthew Krause of Sheboygan Falls; his grandchildren, Natalie, Benjamin and Carter; and his father-in-law Lyle Krause. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in David's name.
