She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Flietstra and Marie Flietstra (Glaubitz); her husband Rev. Bill Bouwer; her siblings, Clarence Flietstra and Marilyn Buist; and her sister-in-law Mary Kloote (Roger).
She is survived by: her children, Jan Wilterdink (Larry) of Hingham, Mary Katsma (Tom) of Oostburg, Nancy Hoskins (Kent) of Chicago, Cindy Bouwer of Oak Forest, IL and Rev. Bob Bouwer (Laurie) of Dyer, IN; her sister Norma Quakkelaar (Arnold) of Milwaukee; and her siblings-in-law, Donald Buist of Grand Rapids and Phyllis Flietstra of Grand Rapids, MI. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Memorial donations can be made in Barbara's name to Bethshan Association in Palos Heights, IL, Pine Haven Christian Communities, and Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.
