She was predeceased by: her spouse Leeland Carpenter; her son Steve Carpenter; her son-in-law Ron Jutila; and her siblings, Beulah Kennedy (Ray), Sylvester "Bud", Vivian, Sherman (Marcella) and Rose Marie (Marvin).
She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Jutila, Sue Ann Wickman (Rodney) and Sarah Spettel (Larry); her daughter-in-law Terrie Carpenter; her grandchildren, Samael (Melissa), Charlotte (Bruce), Cheryl (Al), Matthew (Helen), Daniel (Jodi), Jacqueline, Peter, Nicholas and Stephanie (Mike); her siblings, Beverly "Beck" Pues (Rose), Wayne Pues (Betty) and Ellen Noble (Phil); and her friend Larry Sanders. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to "Bearing Precious Seed" or "Scandinavians for Christ" in Naomi's honor are appreciated.
