He is survived by: his wife Joan Effa; his children, LuAnn Hauser (Denny), Jim Effa (Laurie), Sandy Gonnering (Ken), Kim Lamers (Jeff), Kelly Wyngaard (Ken), Scott Effa (Sarah), Jesse Effa (Kelly) and Kristy Lamers (Tim); his daughter-in-law Amy Marks (Jim); his grandchildren, Tiffany, James, Rachel, Ashley, Nick, Kortney, Katie, Jacob, Cory, Isaac, Hunter, Sarah, Ben, Jordan, Parker, Cole, Carson, Madelyn, Lydia, Weston, Tanner, Cooper, Peter, Hailey and Dexter; his great grandchildren, Avery, Adelyn, Jace, Camryn, Kendal, Abram, Ariana, Robin, Colton, Grant and Emma; and his siblings-in-law, Joyce Unker, Pat Albright (Jim), Carmen Janssen (Bruce), Ellen Ebben, Gene Ebben (Margie), Greg Ebben (Sal) and Robert Brogan. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Jim's family will be sending memorial donations to the Fox River Beagle Club.
