He was predeceased by: his wife Myrna; and his brothers, Milfred Carlson and Ernest Carlson. He is survived by: his son John Carlson (Wendy) of Dennis Carlson; his grandchildren, Krystal Martin (Tyler), Jenna Carlson and Kyle Carlson (Geena Moore); and his great grandchild Aria Carlson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Arbor Day Foundation, to be used for the restoration and maintenance of the national forests.
