He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Ballweg and Mary Ballweg (Ganser); his wife Marian Maly; his children, Patricia and Alan; his daughter-in-law Susan; and his siblings, Adolph, Lawrence, Leo, Edwin, Barbara Skrum, Caroline Ballweg, Theresa Hoffman, Helen Haugen, Mary Bassett, Olive Shepard and Marcella Bowers-Wilson.
He is survived by: his children, Kathleen Czeshinski (John) of New Berlin, Joseph (Sac) of Prairie, Virginia Beuthin (Fred) of Mazomanie, Jean Bauer (Sac) of Prairie, Robert of Waunakee, Mary Ann Kraemer (Butch) of DeForest, John (Cathy) of Merrimac, Rich (Sac) of Prairie, Karen Fiene (Sac) of Prairie, James (Jenni) of Stoughton, Sandra (Joe Long) of Blue Mounds and Laura Waters (Dean) of Belleville; his daughter-in-law Bernadette of Cross Plains; his grandchildren, Brian (Robin), Bradley (Stephanie), Robin, Joseph, Jeremy, Bill (Cindy), Connie (Amir), JoAnn (Keith), Corey, Stacey, Emily, Patrick, Shannon, Christopher, Michael (Jordyn Denzer), Lee (Laura), Ross (Sarah), Matthew (Abbey), Melissa (Travis), Danielle (Anthony), Chase, Shelby, Zach (Jenn) and Lucas; and his sisters-in-law, Agnes Ballweg, Charlotte Schneider, Betty Blumer and Donna Cushman. He is also survived by 23 great grandchildren.
Due to the Covid-19 virus, a private family Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday July14, 2020 at 2 pm at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Sauk City. And lived streamed at https: //youtu. be/u6qtYTvgqjc.
