He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth "Barney" Cramer and Lucille Cramer (Huerth); his in-laws, Andy and Gerry Ballweg; and his grandmother Elsie Cramer.

He is survived by: his wife Debbie Ballweg of Norbert's Church; his child Courtney Maier (Jared); his grandsons, Lawson James and Brock; his son Tyler James (Jenna); his grandson Vincent James; his daughter Hayley Lindsey (Blake); his granddaughter Elsie James; his child Shelby Cramer (Dustin Bolt); his sister Lyn Coenen (Gregg); and his in-laws, Steve, Bev Ballweg and Cindy Mack. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
