He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Schroeder and Iva Schroeder (Buss); his parents-in-law, Harold and Blanche Wade (Betty); his son Russell Schroeder; his granddaughter Peggy Lawler; his brother Loren Schroeder; his brothers-in-law, Ronald Staerz, James Wade and Lester Moore; and his sons-in-law, Don Cook and Mitchell Lawler.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Wade; his children, Sharon Lomas (Jim) of Lena, IL., Harlan Schroeder, Norman Schroeder, Eileen Zander (Greg) and Allen Schroeder (Lauri); his sister Bonnie Staerz of Carol Stream, IL; and his sisters-in-law, Karen Schroeder, Marylu Klingaman (Verlin) and Bertha Thompson. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren.
