He was predeceased by: his parents, Wendell Osterfund and Lorraine Osterfund (Wadell); and his sister Ria Michaels. He is survived by: his wife Pat; his children, David L. Osterfund, Shawn Osterfund and Sharr Ballweg (Dennis); and his grandchildren, Christopher Osterfund, Kaytlyn Sheard (Josh), Noah Ballweg (Joelle), Caleb Ballweg (Alyssa) and Julia Ballweg.
Memorials may be made in David's name to St. John's Lutheran Church, Prairie du Sac or Sauk Prairie HealthCare.
