He was predeceased by: his parents, Gustav Heike and Irene Heike (Pfund); his wife Margaret Wissell; and his siblings, Phillip, Arno, Joel, Oscar, Alma and Ida.
He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Heike of Kenosha, WI, Robert Alan Heike (Jennifer Preston) of Alabama and Betty Ann Olsen (Greg) of Johnsburg, IL. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, funeral services for Hilmer will be private.
