He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Wier and Helen Wier. He is survived by: his wife Patty; his stepchildren, Amber Sparacino and Melissa Podgor (David); his stepgrandchild Damon Sparacino; his siblings, Maryellen Lakin (Robert) and Edward Wier; and his nephews, Grant Lakin and Glen Lakin.
