He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Kandler and Lois Kandler; and his brother Frederick Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Valerie; his children, Justin, Brooke Zimmerman (Adam) and Heidi Rettig (Wayne); his grandchildren, Caden, Addison, Finley, Oakley and Riley; his brothers, Jeff (Faith) and Ricky (Renee); his brother-in-law Scott Berendt; and his nieces and nephews, Jennifer, Ryan Casey (Lorna) and Becca (Jason). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
