He was predeceased by: his parents, Milford Loose and Rufina Loose (Lau); and his grandchildren, Gerad Sixel and Lily Stauss. He is survived by: his wife Laone Meyer (Tuddy); his daughter Holly Clappes (David); his grandchildren, Megan Sixel Jacob (Adam Dircz) and Luke; his daughter Kelly Stauss (Brian); his grandsons, Zachary and Derek; and his siblings, Donald Loose (Jeannette), Marlene Lemke (Jerry) and Randall.

In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established in his name.
