He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph H. Montgomery and Jean E. Montgomery (Wynn); his parents-in-law, George and Clara Held; his siblings, James, Dennis and Gail Hicks; and his siblings-in-law, Dwayne Greer, Gilbert Held and Carol Held.
He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Held; his children, Ken Montgomery (Becky) of Titusville, Bonnie Antoine (Jerry) of Reedsburg and Steve Montgomery (Shelly) of Reedsburg; his grandchildren, Bryan Antoine, Jason Antoine (Wendy), Kayla Wilson (Justin) and Erik Montgomery (Shaina); his great grandchildren, Cecelia, Marshall Antoine, Everett Wilson and Selah Montgomery; his sisters, Ann Marie and JoAnne; his sisters-in-law, Sue Montgomery, Karen Montgomery and Annette Greer; and his daughters, Trix, Jaws, Jane, Jamie and Kim. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, along with other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church.
