He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Wilbert and Glenna Rathman. He is survived by: his parents, Cory W. Rathman and Michelle M. Rathman (Moon); his grandparents, Charlie and Patricia Moon; his aunt Melissa Reinecke (Marcus); and his uncle Chuck Nolden (Kelli). He is also survived by many cousins, along with other relatives and friends.

The family would prefer memorials be given in Alex's name.
