It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Thomas Atkinson (Racine, Wisconsin), who passed away on July 18, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William S. Atkinson and Lucille A.; and his siblings-in-law, Peggy Peterson and Melvin Peterson, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Penny; his children, Deani Rendon (Randy), Daniel Atkinson (Donna) and Jamie Herron (Frank); his siblings, Janice Bergstrom and Jack Atkinson (Cindy); and his sister-in-law Pamela Jenista (Daniel). He is also survived by 27 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to "Tunnel to Towers Foundation" which assists families of fallen first responders.
