He was predeceased by: his parents, Morris and Lavena Van Swol, Sr. (Hansen); his children, Rick and Pam; and his siblings, Jim and Elaine Dumke.
He is survived by: his wife Josephine "Jo" McGettigan (Palzkill); his daughter Patti Bostad; his stepson Kevin McGettigan (Jody); his grandchildren, McKinley, Brett Bostad, Zach Damman, Killian Bartels and Blake Franklin; his daughter-in-law Angie Damman; his brother Morris Jr.; and his parents-in-law, Violet Stilen, Merlynn Dumke, Mary Argall (Larry), Paul Palzkill (Marge) and Jane Tonelli (Russ). He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
