He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore "Teddy" Thompson and Evelyn Thompson; his siblings, Jimmy Thompson, Marlene Curtis and Pat Joyce; his brothers-in-law, Don Joyce and Dick Chapman; his nephew David Chapman; and his niece Diane Joyce.
He is survived by: his grandson Nile; his wife Barbara; his children, Bruce Thompson (Chrissy), Diane Kuehn (Terry) and Victoria "Vicki" Thompson-Vargas; his grandchildren, Ashley Kuehn (Jesse Olsen) and Elijah Vargas; his great grandchild Valerie Luella; his sisters, June Colstad (Larry), Frances Chapman and Jeanne Zeier (Bill); and his brother-in-law Elbridge Curtis. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
The family requires the use of face masks.
