It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leslie Howard Pettibone of Portage, Wisconsin, born in Black River Falls, Wisconsin, who passed away on December 6, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Pettibone and Lucy Greengrass; his siblings, Russell Pettibone, Ann Pettibone Lonetree, Ruby Pettibone Garvin, Virgil Pettibone, Edith Pettibone Thundercloud, Genevieve Pettibone, Gavin Pettibone and Catherine Pettibone Smoke; his children, Jonette Pettibone, Laurie Dorwin, James Pettibone and Leslie R. Pettibone II; and his grandsons, Darus Pettibone, Bryce Pettibone, Bartlett Pettibone, Dustin Pettibone and Nicholas Pettibone.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Pettibone (Prescott); and his children, Jon Pettibone (Deb), Howard Pettibone (Vicki), Lynette Smoke, Laurette Pettibone, Robin Babcock (Ralph), Lisa Topping, Lucie Penland and LaNel Pettibone. He is also survived by loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; as well as many other relatives.
