He is survived by: his wife Linda Ann Mertens; his daughter Karen Rath (Aaron); his grandchildren, Alexis (Jared), Emily and Amber; his daughter Dawn Ruben (Keith); his grandchildren, Timothy, Joshua, Brandon and Rebekah; his son Andy (Kayla); and his grandchildren, Ashley, Ethan, Bella, Kenzie and Colten. He is also survived by relatives and many close friends.
