He was predeceased by: his parents, Adam Hauck and Helen Hauck (Kuhn); his siblings, Betty Loftesness (Everett) and Dennis Hauck; and his brother-in-law Tom Elliott.
He is survived by: his wife Rose Tiemann; his children, Gerald Hauck, Jr. (Sheila) of Ringle, WI and Denise Grancorvitz (Ron); his grandchildren, Kaite Waddell (Eliot), Austin Hauck (Ashley), Nicholas Grancorvitz and Alysha Grancorvitz; his stepgrandchildren, Tyler Schmidt and Kyle Schmidt; his great grandchildren, Harvey Waddell and Amelia Waddell; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Carter Hansen and Jordyn Hansen; and his siblings, Arleen Elliott, Ron Hauck (Gloria), Darryl Hauck (Cynthony), Janice Acker (John), John Hauck (Karen) and Lynette Schlecht (Mike). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
The family suggests that memorials may be made to St. Mary's Building Fund or the American Stroke Association.
